October 28th!

Well....the Slice is here...life is slowing down a BIT!  THANK GOODNESS!!  I think we've sold around 110 of the Slice Starter Kits, and have been getting positive feedback!  If you have ANY problems at all, or have any questions on how to use your Slice, go to www.whyslice.com or call the MM Customer Service girls...they are experts and can walk you through anything better then we can!  I'd love to hear your feedback...so please email me and let me know how you like it!  I've only taken time to play with mine for a few hours last week when we were scrappin one night, but so far, so good!

We are gearing up for our Making Memories Weekend Extravaganza - Nov 14-16!!!
We've got lots of ideas in our heads, just need to sit down and get them on paper next week!

Be sure to pre-order your online class kit quickly...they are selling fast and we can't order more!  When you order your kit, you automatically get entered into the 2 day drawing - MM sent us so many AWESOME prizes we get to have a drawing/contest HOURLY, so these will be held from 9-5 on Friday AND Saturday!!

If you have an embellishment center, then these adorable drawers are just what you need!  They sit on the shelf of your embellishment center!  Also we received the new ribbon organizers, and the so so so so cute pre-made albums!  I looked through these last night and just LOVE THEM!  All the designing is done....you just add the pictures! The 2009 SEI calendars will be here today also! I can't believe we are 90% done with all the new product released at Summer CHA!  I think the only things left coming are some Cricut products, and the Valentines line from Doodlebug!

Oct. 13th!

Well, we made it back and had a great time in  Hawaii!!!

  

You would die, like I almost did, if you'd seen all the product EVERYWHERE that I walked into upon arriving back to work!  OH MY GOSH talk about out of control.  For the first time, I'm honestly not sure we can actually get it all in and make room for it.  I don't think we've EVER had this much new product arrive in the same 7 days...EVER!  And I didn't take on ANY new companies at the convention....this is our same ol vendors we buy from at each convention....I think they all seriously just came up with TOO MUCH NEW product this year.....There were at least 20 boxes that were opened so the girls could fill orders, but on the floor, every table out, crammed with stuff on top and under it....boxes and boxes of new product!  I spent 2 1/2 hours early this morning finding homes for alot of it....just doodlebug alone was 6 huge boxes....so made room for that, organized what I could....then during work today, found out WeR's Christmas line is coming, BG Wassail will be here tomorrow, and SEI's Glitzmas line arrived Sat....do they always send the Christmas lines in Sept/Oct?  It just seems really early this year to me?!!?

So anyhow....I'll be glad when it's all here...and NOTHING else new is coming until next year!!!  haha

So....being one of the Making Memories VIP Stores, we get 'store visits' each year by a MM Designer.  This is something I've never been able to take advantage of, because, well, what are they going to do..come visit my warehouse?  that's no fun!  So this year, the VIP Rep gave me a few suggestions, and eventhough we are still very much in the early stages of planning this....I want you to 'save the dates' of Nov 14-16 for a MM Weekend at www.happynscrappin.com, ok?!!?  One of the MM designers is designing a 2 page layout, and 2 cards for a class kit for us to sell ahead of time, and they are going to have an online class using the Paperie Product!  I'm so excited for this!!!   And Friday, we received 5 BOXES of awesome free MM products, trimmers, kits, Rollaway Luggage, oh man I can't remember all of it right now...but anyhow...it's a ton of stuff for us to give away all weekend!!

So for all of you blogger addicts....give us some ideas as to how you think we should do it??!!??  MM is going to announce it on their blog too, which will be so awesome!  We are thinking we could do a drawing each hour, all weekend....but how do we get the entrys?   Posting on our blog?   Placing an order?  Winning a contest? We can't decide!  Help us with some ideas ok?  It's going to be a HUGE weekend that all of our loyal customers can enjoy....win stuff....and do some page layouts with their newest products!!

It's Oct. 1st???

Is anyone else in shock like I am?  Where did September go?  Well, here comes October....October is ALWAYS nuts with new shipments arriving every week, sometimes twice a week!

Today part of the new MM arrived, the rest will be here tomorrow, Doodlebug is on it's way, WeR is practically on it's way!  Just got an email the the 2 new BG lines are shipping out tomorrow, and Wassail is coming next week!  HOLY COW...and guess what?  I'm leaving town for 10 days!!!

K, I need everyone to be really nice to my wonderful assistant Brittney, as this is the FIRST time I have ever left the store open while I've been out of town more then a few days...I've taught her well, she is ready! (text messaging is a wonderful thing!)

It's our anniversary on Oct. 8th, so my dh is taking me to Hawaii for our first time!  We are so excited to go....but ohmygosh if we ever get caught up so we can leave it will be a miracle!  We are both self-employed...so it's hard to go!

So all should be SMOOTH SAILING..and tons and tons of new product will arrive while I'm gone too...so have fun!
